As your publisher will an end of the day will go home thinking o the new book. And on the other hand can nit come out with another book in the same time. As it must not be very hard for your author but at the same time must be very hard earned money for you.

So my suggestion would be to know your audience and at the same time know your work because no matter what you do the very first thing that matter is that you know the audience you have writing the book for . Then after that you try different techniques to get the attention and to promote your book. And the last minute advise is that if you promoter is not doing the enough work do it your self.
